I understand you just took over Stuart's in Wells.

Three years ago Lisa Graves (who apparently still works there)
shortchanged me $10 in the deli. (I don't know what she has against
me; maybe you can find out.) When I pointed out that I gave her a
twenty, she screamed in a very rude voice, "You did not give me a
twenty!" Then she immediately began moving away from the register
while sticking her hand in her smock pocket.

The lady she was working with opened the drawer and told me there was
no twenty in there, to which I replied, "No, she just stuck it in her
pocket. That's why she's headed over to the other side of the store,
to stash it so nobody will find it on her." Which is exactly what she
did.

I couldn't have given Graves anything but a twenty as I only had that
and four ones. The bill was five dollars and change. She gave me
back change for a ten.

Graves knew I didn't have time to argue because at the time I
delivered for Great Basin Beverage and had to get on the road. I left
but came back to the store with my brother, Howard, a couple days
later. I talked to the manager at the time, Hayden, and he gave me
$10 from the deli register. Hayden didn't even argue with me, and
implied that he knew Graves would shortchange someone. I asked him
how come she's not fired. He told me that she's been there forever,
she can't get fired.

A week or so later, I came in to get my breakfast. In front of a
counter full of customers, Graves informs me that I'm not allowed in
the deli. So I say, "Now let me get this straight, YOU steel ten
dollars from me, and I can't come in the deli?" At which point,
Graves asks Yvonne Stuart to make me leave the store.

I have no idea why Graves thought she could just blatantly take ten
dollars from me, and I wouldn't say anything. I have no idea what she
has against me. But I'll bet a test for methamphetamine use would
answer a lot of questions.

In addition, one afternoon, about four months ago (I have this on
video) I'm taking my Mom for her daily ride. That's why I moved back
to Wells from Sacramento; to take care of my Mom who's in the first
stages of Alzeimer's. I notice somebody in a maroon pickup following
us. I double back, and it's Graves and her shackup or husband or
whatever he is. He's calling out obscenities and flipping us off.

The only reason I can think of they'd hate me as much as they do is
because of my campain to rid Wells of methamphetamine. Is that what
it is? Several people have been arrested as a result of my calling in
the FBI and the DEA to light a fire under the Elko County Sheriff's
Department to do something about this growing threat.

One more item: A couple of weeks after the Graves followed us, I'm in
the other room on the computer. I hear some people come up and engage
in some friendly banter between them and Mom on the porch. I thought
it was my brother coming to visit from Wendover. I open the door, and
it's the Graves more messed up than anybody I've seen in a long time.
They're right up in Mom's face, sweet talking her. Lisa has got an
arm around my Mom's shoulder like they're old friends.

I ask them what they're doing on this property. Mom becomes alarmed
because she realizes from the light when I open the door that she
doesn't know these people. Lisa walks right over, opens the screen
door, and enters our home. I tell her she needs to get off the
premises immediately while I dial 911. They leave but not after they
slur a couple obscenities at my Mom and me.

Those two were not just drunk. They were cranked up like nobody's
business. I contacted the anonymous drug line for the area to turn
them in. I don't know if the Sheriff's Department ever talked to
them. I think they're friends with the local deputy.

If I go into your store now, will Graves still harrass me? I didn't
do anything wrong, she did. She's a thief.
